UFC lightweight contender believes Conor McGregor will be too much for Michael Chandler.
On June 23rd, McGregor will make his long-awaited return to the Octagon when he takes on UFC veteran Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in Las Vegas.
Ahead of the fight, Tsarukyan broke down McGregor-Chandler and he believes there McGregor will knock out Chandler because he’s just a smarter fighter, who is willing to wait for the right time to knock out his opponent.
“I mean, he never use his brain. He always fight for the fan. He’s gonna try to knock him out because he’s so dangerous in the first round. He can finish Conor in the first round.”
“If the fight [goes to the] second round, third round, he’s gonna lose that fight. Because he gotta knock him out in the first round, or he’s gonna lose the fight. Because Conor, I feel like his conditioning is better, and he’s smarter than Chandler.“
It’ll be interesting to see if a Tsarukyan-McGregor fight could happen down the line if Tsarukyan defeats Islam Makhachev or Dustin Poirier for the lightweight title.
