PFL CEO Reacts To UFC Poaching Kayla Harrison For UFC 300 Card

The PFL took a huge blow this week when they lost one of their top stars in Kayla Harrison.

On Tuesday, UFC CEO Dana White announced that he had signed Harrison to fight Holly Holm on the historic UFC 300 card.

“Holly Holm is one of the baddest women to ever compete in combat sports…ever,” said White. “She’s fought all the nastiest women in the world in boxing and in MMA, except for one. She’ll be taking on the only woman in U.S. history to win back-to-back Olympic gold medals in judo. The UFC has officially signed Kayla Harrison.”

PFL CEO Peter Murray was asked about Harrison signing with UFC during a PFL Vs Bellator press conference and this is how he answered.

“Listen, we wish Kayla well, because she’s a two-time champion with us, women’s 155, and she’s moving on to UFC. She’s gonna be on a historic card, which I believe really illustrates or is a testament to the level and quality of talent in the PFL. So we wish her well. It’s going to be interesting to see how Kayla does with fighting in the 135 division, but nothing but the best, nothing but love.”
