Israel Adesanya Reacts To Dricus Du Plessis Win Vs Sean Strickland At UFC 297

It appears that Israel Adesanya and Dricus Du Plessis are on a collision course.

Back at UFC 290, Adesanya and Du Plessis first faced off in a heated exchange inside the cage. Unfortunately, the two were unable to fight each other after Adesanya lost his belt to Sean Strickland in Australia.

On Saturday, Du Plessis defeated Strickland to win the middleweight title, and it appears that Adesanya is interested in settling the score.

“Oh no it’s nothing personal, it’s not personal at all, that’s just the fight the fans want to see. I want to fight the best competition, there are alot of fighters that are going to be fighting but the fans want to see Israel Adesanya vs Dricus Du Plessis. There’s a lot of hype that already built on it.

If we don’t do that fight it’s fine with me, I don’t care who it is but just a fight on the top of my head that I think people want to see and I think it’s going to get people excited.”
