Frankie Edgar Reacts To Being Inducted Into UFC Hall Of Fame

Former UFC champion Frankie Edgar will be inducted into next summer’s UFC Hall of Fame during International Fight week.

During UFC 297, the UFC announced Edgar’s long-awaited induction into the Hall of Fame.

“Frankie Edgar is one of the greatest athletes in UFC history,” UFC CEO Dana White said in a statement. “Frankie had an amazing career and consistently fought the best athletes in the world across multiple weight classes for more than 15 years. He is a legend, and it will be an honor to induct him into the UFC Hall of Fame.”

While speaking to the media, Edgar spoke about his career achievements.

ā€œIā€™m not the strongest guy, fastest guy, but I found a way to win through heart and determination.ā€

“To be recognized by your peers and the guys that hired you to do this in the Hall of Fame amongst other greats is what it’s all about.”

“Winning the title always, to reach the pinnacle of the sport, being considered the best in the world is what always sticks ut to me.

Edgar will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame on June 28th during the UFC’s annual International Fight Week festivities.
