Dustin Poirier Not Worried About Backlash After Signing With Bud Light

Dustin Poirier isn’t worried about any backlash after signing with Bud Light.

On Wednesday, Bud Light announced that it had signed the UFC star to a sponsorship deal, months after signing the UFC to a massive $100 million deal to make Bud Light the UFC’s official beer.

While speaking with Fox News Digital, Poirier spoke about not worrying about backlash from people who are boycotting Bud Light for sponsoring trans activist Dylan Mulvaney.

“It is what it is. Of course, people want clickbait, and any kind of traction they can get, but in life, in fighting, in business, there’s ups and downs. We go through life and learn and keep moving. That’s what it’s all about, that’s what fighting’s about. We keep it forward,” Poirier said. “I didn’t have any stress being in line with this brand. Obviously, this year they’re starting a new partnership with the UFC, but they’ve been in the Octagon for a long time.”

Poirier is coming off a massive win against Benoit St.Denis at UFC 299 and has been calling for a title shot against Islam Makhachev.
