No one in Mexico will be paying for a Canelo Alvarez fight on TV anytime soon.
On Tuesday, Canelo resigned with TV Azteca to carry his fights in Mexico. The Mexican superstar boxer made sure that his fights will remain free in Mexico for everyone in his homeland to watch.
During his interview, Canelo confirmed that he would be returning on May 4th to fight.

Canele did not name an opponent but says he will not be fighting another Mexican fighter which rules out Jaime Munguia.
There has been some speculation that Canelo will eventually name fellow PBC fighter Jermall Charlo his next opponent according to various reports.
