Ryan Garcia has a fight booked against Devin Haney but he’s looking for a crossover fight vs Sean O’Malley.
Immediately after winning the UFC bantamweight championship O’Malley told the media that he wanted to box Gervonta Davis or Ryan Garcie, the same way Conor McGregor crossed over into boxing and fought Floyd Mayweather.
“If I ever do a boxing match I think it’ll be similar to when Conor [McGregor] fought Floyd [Mayweather]. When it’s the pay-per-view king in the UFC vs another pay-per-view king in boxing,” O’Malley said at the time
“So, Ryan Garcia, Gervonta Davis, those are two guys I could see myself potentially boxing in five, six years. I truly believe I could beat one of those guys. It would be a very difficult challenge.”
Garcia has since fired back at O’Malley and says he’s willing to do MMA if “Dana White cuts him a check.”
