Andre Lima Reacts To Getting Bit Igor Severino ‘I Thought It Was The Fence, I Later Realized That He Bit Me’

A bizarre incident ocurred during Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 53 event.

In middle of the the Andre Lima-Igor Severino fight, Lima claimed that he gotten bitten in the arm.

During a break in the action, Lima showed off his bite scars to the refs.

After the fight Lima explains what happened in the Octagon.

“We were exchanging really well at that point and he went down, and I was getting up, I yelled because I felt very sharp pain, and I really thought that the fence had gotten into me and they started looking at me and I don’t know what is happening to me, but I really thought it was the fence, there’s absolutely no way he would have bitten me, especially with the way the fight was going, it was back and forth, it was good for him and it good for me and it had a lot of potential to be the fight of the night…i later realized that he bit me”

Thankfully UFC CEO Dana White fave Lima $50k for his troubles and he used to get a tattoo of the bite mark on his arm.
