Jorge Masvidal Hints He May Retire If He Loses To Gilbert Burns At UFC 287

Jorge Masvidal’s MMA career may be coming to an end if he loses his next fight.

On Saturday night, Masvidal will face one of the top-ranked welterweights in Gilbert Burns.

Masvidal is currently a big underdog in the fight.

During a recent episode of UFC 287 countdown, Masvidal hinted that he could retire if he loses to Burns.

“This could be the last one,” Masvidal said. “If I lose, I’m pretty much calling it quits but a win against Gilbert means that things are headed in the right direction. So if I roll the dice and do everything right, I’m going for it all.”

Masvidal believes that he will be fighting Leon Edwards for the title if he wins despite the fact that White has said that Colby Covington is next for the title.

“I love Dana [White], but Dana says a lot of things, man”

“As I recall, champions have always called the shots and Colby is only a champion of calling cops.”
